Local Angel (2002) is Aloni’s first, full-length film produced in the U.S. It follows the thematic lineage of his previous art projects, including The Book of Sham, The Interactive Project and Exhibition Re-U-Man, and the documentary film Left – all of which were shown and exhibited in galleries and museums to unanimous acclaim.
Upon arrival in New York in the mid-90s, Aloni ventured into the advertising scene, and according to articles in The New York Times, New York Magazine, and a CNN interview (to name just a few), revolutionized the urbanscape and gave New York city a new look.
